Desert of Fools is the new album from Cristóvam, featuring 11 tracks recorded at Terrace Tone Studios in Brisbane, Australia, with producer Tim Hart. The album offers a deeply personal and reflective collection of songs, exploring the challenge of balancing life on the road and at home. It also includes a standout collaboration with Boy & Bear. Cristóvam is a singer-songwriter from the Azores, Portugal, known for his heartfelt storytelling and emotive melodies. His debut album, Hopes & Dreams (2018), established his unique sound, and his song Andrà Tutto Bene became a viral anthem during the pandemic. His subsequent albums, Songs on A Wire (2022) and Songs on A Wire: Unwired (2023), further showcased his evolution as an artist. Having toured extensively across Europe with artists like Stu Larsen, Tim Hart, and Scott Matthews, Cristóvam’s music has earned him accolades, including first place in the International Songwriting Competition and two IPMA Awards. Desert of Fools is set for release in October 2025 via V2 Records.
