Rei Yamashita is a professional harmonica player and instructor based in Tokyo andYokohama area. She graduated from Toho Gakuen College of Arts, Junior College Music (Flute). After College, she was fascinated by the tone of Chromatic harmonica and trained under Nobuo Tokunaga in Osaka, one of the representative Chromatic Harmonica players in Japan. In 2014, she won the Grand Prix of the 34th F.I.H. Competition in Japan. On July 20th, 2016, she made a major debut releasing a new album called “Beautiful Breath” from Victor Entertainment.
