Jossi Fresco - Sacred Breath (2025)

On October 12, the album "Sacred Breath" will be released, representing the culmination of the artist's long-standing musical and spiritual journey. This journey began in childhood with recorder playing and evolved into a passion for Andean wind instruments like the quena and quenacho. After moving to the USA, the author discovered Native American flutes and the pentatonic scale, which became a significant phase in their creative work. The album was also influenced by participation in cacao ceremonies and rituals connected to the traditions of Mexico, Mesoamerica, and the Lakota. The compositions, born from these experiences, are based on the sacred connection between breath and sound. In addition to the flute, the recording features drums, shakers, guitar, and vocals. The album aims to convey feelings of calm, depth, and inspiration.
