22 years ago, guitarist Kaori Muraji became the first Japanese guitarist to sign an exclusive contract with the prestigious Decca Classics. Her 16th album, Eternal Fantasy, marks her first in seven years.
This collection of game music marks a new chapter for Muraji. Using five classical guitars, Muraji brings to life the world of game music, creating simple yet moving melodies that have graced numerous classic games, as well as grand, emotionally stirring compositions.
Her collaborators include classical guitarist Soichi Muraji, who appears in duo and trio on four tracks, including The Dragonborn Comes (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) and The Last of Us Theme (The Last of Us). Additionally, flutist Cocomi, with whom she has previously performed, joins her for a trio performance of Waltz in the Rain (Sky: Children of the Light).
The jacket design is a striking visual that brings out the emotions inherent in the world of games.
Regarding the album's release, Muraji Kaori commented, This is an album not only for avid game fans, but for everyone who loves and cherishes music.
