Quicksilver Messenger Service's fifth album, "What About Me," was released in 1970 and is musically similar to their previous work, "Just for Love." The return of Dino Valenti (Jesse Oris Farrow) to the lineup and the addition of keyboardist Nicky Hopkins marked a change in the band's sound. The group moved away from extended, free-flowing improvisations in favor of shorter, more structured songs, written primarily by Valenti. The title track became a notable socio-political anthem. The album, which entered the US Top 30 charts, also includes tracks such as the psychedelic samba "All in My Mind," John Cipollina's blues instrumental "Local Color," and Nicky Hopkins' "Spindrifter." The band officially disbanded in 1975 but has reunited multiple times since.Title: What About Me
