Yakir Arbib, Conti Bilong - Afro Baroque (2025) [Hi-Res]

The debut release of the Afro Baroque duo by Elsden Music brings together award-winning pianist and composer Yakir Arbib and Cameroonian drummer and vocalist Conti Bilong. Their music combines traditional rhythms from Central Africa and the Middle East with Baroque counterpoint and dynamic jazz interplay. Despite their different musical backgrounds, Arbib and Bilong discovered a strong musical connection and an "inexplicable" synergy from their very first time playing together in Paris, which led to the creation of their unique music showcased in the Afro Baroque recording.
