Dimple Discs is announcing its first release: a baroque pop songcycle by Ger Eaton, aimed at fans of The Zombies, Scott Walker, and The High Llamas. Eaton is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, stylist, and vintage aficionado, recently known as the keyboardist/guitarist for the Dublin alt-rock band The Pale. He is a long-standing fixture of the Irish music scene, having been a member of groups like Premonition and Las Vegas Basement, and having recorded and toured with artists such as Mundy and Duke Special, with performances at Glastonbury and 'Later With Jools Holland'. Critics have highly praised his work; for instance, Mike Scott of The Waterboys called it a "beautiful slice of Scott Walker-esque pop," and Pat Carty of Hot Press compared the track "Hollow" to "undiscovered" The Beach Boys material.
