Begonia returns with her third full-length album Fantasy Life, via Birthday Cake Records. Following the Polaris-shortlisted Powder Blue and its companion EPs, this record deepens her genre-bending approach - a lush, emotionally charged blend of alt-pop, soul, R&B, and trip hop. Written under the LA sun and recorded in a frozen Winnipeg winter, Fantasy Life explores the magical and mundane, embracing delusion, joy, heartbreak, and hope with unfiltered intensity.

The lead single “So High” introduces the album’s emotional push-pull — playful and confessional, confident and raw. As always, Begonia’s unmatched vocal power is front and center, switching from a soaring belt to intimate whisper in a moment’s breath. Lyrically, she traverses themes of mental health, queer identity, friendship, self- worth, and love with clarity and chaos in equal measure. Across thirteen tracks, she lets her weirdness and wisdom coexist, fully owning the spectrum of who she is.
