Silva Classics has released Imitation Games Vol. 4, the fourth album in its acclaimed series of cinematic reinterpretations, performed by London Music Works and led by cellist/conductor Nick Squires. The album features a collection of re-recorded themes from film, television, and contemporary classics. The central piece is an instrumental reimagining of London Grammar's "Rooting For You," with Squires' cello taking the place of the original vocal, resulting in a moving and intimate performance that highlights his artistry. Imitation Games Vol. 4 also explores a wide range of modern screen music, including themes from Hans Zimmer ("Tick-Tock" from Interstellar), Michael Giacchino ("Bundle of Joy" from Inside Out), Ennio Morricone ("Nostalgia" from Cinema Paradiso), and others.
