The soundtrack album Ballad of a Small Player is the original score composed by the Academy Award-winning German composer Volker Bertelmann, also known as Hauschka. The music accompanies the 2025 Netflix psychological thriller film of the same name.

The film Ballad of a Small Player is directed by Edward Berger, who previously collaborated with Bertelmann on All Quiet on the Western Front. Starring Colin Farrell and Tilda Swinton, the movie is an adaptation of the 2014 novel by Lawrence Osborne, following an Irish aristocratic gambler, Lord Doyle, who is hiding out in Macau after a major theft.

Bertelmann's score is designed to capture the "sensory overload" and hyper-stylized, neon-drenched atmosphere of Macau, with the composer citing his rock band background as an influence for a more "bombastic" and energetic sound.
