Applewood Road, the trio composed of songwriters Emily Barker, Amber Rubarth, and Amy Speace, is releasing a new US version of their rapturously received 2016 debut album. This version showcases the band's honey-soaked harmonies and exquisite songwriting, along with an exclusive bonus 7" single. The single features a live recording of their cover of R.E.M.'s 'Losing My Religion' and 'My Dear Companion', captured at their Union Chapel show in November 2016. The formation of Applewood Road began after the trio met for the first time in Nashville in September 2014. They quickly recorded their first song, 'Applewood Road', which garnered a positive response, leading to the decision to create a full self-titled album. The album's songs, recorded live to 2-track tape around a single microphone at Nashville's Welcome to 1979 studio, featured a nostalgic air and sparse arrangement with minimal accompaniment from notable Nashville session players.
