Autumn Tears - The Air Below the Water (2020)

The band AUTUMN TEARS has released a new double CD album, "The Air Below The Water," which features 90 minutes of new music and follows their highly acclaimed 2019 release, "Colors Hidden Within the Gray." Over 40 talented musicians and vocalists participated in the album's recording, underscoring the band's eclectic sound. Featured artists include opera singers Caroline Clarke and Darren Clarke (Trovatori), classical crossover vocalist Lady Debbie Delwynne, renowned virtuoso violinist Maria Grigoryeva, and lead vocalist Agnete Mangnes Kirkevaag from the Norwegian progressive metal band Madder Mortem. The album's musical arrangement combines a fully orchestrated classical ensemble with world instruments, such as Kamancheh, Bansuri, and Duduk, along with atmospheric ocean field recordings intended to evoke a nostalgia for Autumn Tears' classic 90s style.
