Don Hinson & The Rigamorticians - Monster Dance Party (1964)

Monster Dance Party is a 1964 studio album by the American group Don Hinson & The Rigamorticians. The album was released on Capitol Records and produced by Gary Paxton, known for his work on the hit "Monster Mash." The release falls into the "horror rock" subgenre and features humorous, monster and Halloween-themed tracks such as "Monster Jerk," "Werewolf Watusi," and "Monster Surf Stomp." Las Vegas DJ Don Hinson contributed to the recording, performing vocal parts with impressions of classic movie monster voices, notably Bela Lugosi. The album includes an R&B-styled rendition of "Monster Mash."
