Pentangle - Solomon's Seal (2017 Remaster) (1972)

Solomon's Seal is the sixth studio album by the British folk-rock band Pentangle, recorded at Sound Techniques studio, London, from February to March 1972. It was the final album recorded by the original line-up: Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson, and Terry Cox. The band switched to the Reprise label (their US distributor) after their contract with Transatlantic expired. The album features nine tracks, including their slow, blues-rhythm rendition of Cyril Tawney's "Sally Free and Easy," as well as traditional compositions like "The Cherry Tree Carol" and "Willy O' Winsbury."
