Bugonia is a 2025 black comedy sci-fi thriller directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The film is a remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet! and follows two conspiracy theorists who kidnap a CEO, played by Emma Stone, believing her to be an alien threatening Earth. The cast also includes Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. The film premiered at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2025, and was released in U.S. theaters on October 24, 2025. The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, released by Milan Records on October 31, 2025, was composed by Jerskin Fendrix, marking his third collaboration with Lanthimos after Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness. Fendrix crafted the score by focusing on grandiose, unconventional, and experimental orchestral elements, recording the music with the 90-piece London Contemporary Orchestra.
