James Brown Presents The James Brown Band - Jump Around With James Brown And Other Great Artists (2019)

James Brown, known for his pioneering use of the revue format on stage and promotion of his backing band, initiated the release of an all-instrumental compilation album in 1961. The original album featured six tracks recorded by Brown's band and six tracks from five other artists on the King/Federal labels. This expanded CD edition of the album is supplemented with six bonus instrumental tracks taken from Brown and The Famous Flames' later 1966 work titled “Mighty Instrumentals”.
