Roger O'Donnell - Projections (2025) [Hi-Res]

During 23/24 Roger O’Donnell was inactive due to a major illness. But rather than defining the new album, it made him stop and remember where he had come from and what he had heard and achieved. And as the press EPK nicely says: “The following outpouring sums up a 50 year career on stage and recording music, not to be confused with a full stop it’s more of a comma in his musical journey.”

The new album “Projections” “marks a return to a style not visited since 2010” so the press release reads with the Rhodes piano taking the lead and the Moog Voyager in a complementary role across eight electronic pieces. O’Donnell credits Alka for beats and additional synths which he describes as “a truly natural collaboration” dating back to 2005. Guy Davie handled the analogue mastering while Daryl Bamonte serves as executive producer and long-time adviser.
