The Rockstar Project - The Rockstar Project (2025)

The musical project The Rockstar Project, created by North New Jersey musicians Dave Schmidt and Bernie Davis, finally released its album, originally recorded around 2000, on all digital platforms 25 years later. The recordings featured guest musicians, including David Wallingford of SuperVisible and legendary drummer Claude Coleman, known for his work with Ween. The album is characterized by an unusual and memorable style, combining elements of power pop, P-funk, and the sound of Ween with a humorous approach. Tracks that stand out as catchy hits include "Chattanooga" and "It's the Last Time," with other compositions being "Disco Man," "Copy Cat," "Going Down," and "[We're The] Teenage Rock n' Roll Kings".
