Better Joy - At Dusk EP (2025) Hi-Res

Last spring, Better Joy made a splash with their previous EP, *Heading Into Blue*. The Manchester-based indie pop band, fronted by Bria Keeley, continues its steady progress with its powerful and melancholic sound, now available as a follow-up to *at dusk*.

Here come six new tracks totaling 19 minutes, where Better Joy reaffirms their status. The new EP opens with "this part of town," where melodic guitars captivate like never before, setting the scene with a flourish before driving the point home with the remarkably powerful "steamroller," as well as the noteworthy "plugged in," both boasting an impeccable wall of sound. The Manchester band continues to impress on side B with the quintessential pop ballad "big thief," which is not a nod to the famous Brooklyn group, and with the much more frenetic and high-quality closing track, "so long." With at dusk, Better Joy continues its momentum with their unifying and authentic music that we will play on repeat.
