tuvahalseband, Tuva Halse - nemesis/cruel (2024) [Hi-Res]

tuvahalseband is a collective of young musicians based in Trondheim and Oslo who play the compositions and lyrics of violinist Tuva Halse. With a refined blend of Nordic jazz, pop and classical art music, they present songs that can bring associations as much to Ola Kvernberg as to Bach. The band presents a refined blend of pop, nordic jazz and classical music, merging the acoustic with the electric in an atmosphere where the cold and introverted meets the expressive and energetic. Text and improvisation are central elements in the compositions, which range from the melancholic to the playful - from the melodic to the open.
