Drew Simon, Megan Brown, Kelli Jones, T'Monde - Making Believe (2012)

The band T’Monde, which translates to "little world," formed in early 2011. Its members, Drew Simon, Megan Brown, and Kelli Jones, are seasoned musicians who previously played with renowned Cajun bands like the Pine Leaf Boys and Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys. The group performs traditional, old-fashioned Cajun music, spanning from the early 1900s to the present day. T’Monde's distinctive sound is shaped by influences from various folk music styles, resulting in a repertoire that includes rocking two steps, beautiful vocal harmonies, sorrowful waltzes, and heartfelt blues. All three members are talented singers, each contributing a unique vocal quality. The band's debut album, Making Believe, released in March 2012 with 13 tracks, exemplifies the ensemble's special dynamic, combining diverse musical styles with soulful singing and musicianship.
