Les Synapses - Les Synapses (2018)

The French band Les Synapses from Le Havre, who have been active for over 20 years with only one EP and a demo CD released previously, have finally put out their well-deserved debut LP on Groovie Records. The 12-track album was recorded in Lisbon at Golden Pony studios in the spring of 2017. The band's music is described as mainly psychedelic, ranging from Antoine-esque to fuzz-drenched freakbeat-oriented sounds. The members, who are solid vinyl collectors, are well-versed in authentic 1960s underground sounds and demonstrate this by avoiding clichés often heard in younger bands. The album is described as a KILLER release that will delight all garage rock enthusiasts and psychedelic fuzz lovers.
