Delroy Wilson, King Tubby - Sunshine Dubs & Versions (2025)

This is the third and final volume of a trilogy dedicated to the Jamaican music legend Delroy Wilson, released to mark the 30th anniversary of his death. The album, available digitally now and soon on vinyl with two bonus tracks, focuses on the dub versions and B-sides of singles created by Wilson in collaboration with producer Rodguel Sinclair (Blackbeard) during the mid-to-late 1970s. The recordings were primarily made at studios like Harry J and King Tubby, featuring renowned dub engineers including Scientist, Prince Jammy, and King Tubby himself. The 10 tracks, many of which were previously rare or unreleased, offer a new perspective on Wilson's material, emphasizing dub effects such as delay and reverb. The tracklist includes pieces like the dub version of There Is No Sunshine titled Sunshine, the rare I’m Yours In Dub, a version of Can’t Stop Me featuring Dillinger's flow, as well as the dubs of Talk Too Much, You’re Mine, Prophecy, Good My People by Prince Jammy, and the unreleased Dub & Say Goodbye (a dub of Kiss & Say Goodbye).
