“Together on a Rock” is the fourth album from London, Ontario-based folk trio, The Pairs. Known for their three-part harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, the group has been steadily building a name for themselves across North America’s folk scene. Over the past seven years, they've released a full-length album and two EPs, exploring different production styles and collaborations. With this latest release, they return to their folk roots with a mostly acoustic, intimate sound that puts their vocals front and center.
Recorded live-off-the-floor, “Together on a Rock” aims to create connection — through honest lyrics and a warm, stripped-back atmosphere. In a time where it’s easy to feel disconnected, the songs on this album invite listeners to slow down, reflect, and find common ground. The album explores themes of personal responsibility, humility, and reconnection — not just with each other, but with the wisdom of the rest of the natural world as well.
The album was recorded in Northfield, Connecticut with producer Tracy Walton at On Deck Sound Studio in September 2024, and will be released in October 2025.
