Fatspoon - Pensei Ser Sensei (2025) [Hi-Res]

The Porto-based music collective Fatspoon, formed in 2018, is releasing the album Pensei Ser Sensei on vinyl on September 26th. Produced by Miguel Pinto and André Indiana, this collection was recorded between 2021 and 2023 and brings together both older and new material. The album blends elements of jazz, funk, and alternative rock, serving as the follow-up to their 2020 debut Mushgrooves. The recording features new additions to the collective, such as vocalists Edu Mundo and Helena Neto, and guests including Jake Miagra, David Bruno, Bruna Moreira, and Tiago Nacarato. Side A, which includes tracks like "How I Feel" and "Erótico & Sensual," is noted for its tight instrumentation and vocals. Side B features a dreamier approach, culminating in the eight-minute live instrumental "Stride [Live]," which is inspired by a jazz bar. Fatspoon, a regular at local jam sessions, is already developing two more albums, and Pensei Ser Sensei adds a new flavor to Portuguese music.
