Musician Roberto Enrique “Tito” Chicoma forged one of the most solid and consistent musical careers in Peru. A self-taught musician, he began playing saxophone in his father's orchestra, also playing trumpet, piano, or trombone when needed.
In 1959, at the age of 23, Tito moved to Lima, where he soon joined the groups of Koki Palacios and Armando Boza, which took him on his first tour outside the country. He appeared on programs such as “El Show de Juan Silva,” where he accompanied international artists visiting Lima...
Juan Alberto Maraví Chombo:
Alter ego of Infopesa founder Alberto Maravi, whose real name was Juan Alberto. "Juan" was translated as "Johnny," and "Mara" came from his surname, "Maraví."
