Footshooter - The Oasis (Remixes) (2025) [Hi-Res]

Footshooter has released a new four-track remix EP, The Oasis (Remixes), following his acclaimed 2025 album The Oasis. The EP features re-imaginings by some of the UK’s most significant club innovators: Last Nubian, Marla Kether, Fiyahdred, and Anja Ngozi, thus deepening the collaborative spirit established in the original album. The initial The Oasis album merged broken beat, house, jazz, and spoken word, presenting a multifaceted sound rooted in a "collection of moods" from the previous three years. On the new EP, each remixer offers their unique perspective: Last Nubian delivers a playful, funk-laced version of "Boomerang" with soulful roots; Marla Kether, the 2024 Youth Music’s Producer of the Year, reworks "Folding" into a deep house cut featuring signature basslines and Latin percussion; Fiyahdred introduces a summer-ready swing to "Surrey Canal Road" with UK funky, house, and Afro-Caribbean influences; and Anja Ngozi concludes the EP with a free-thinking, genre-bending re-imagining of "What You Saw," navigating between club energy and artistic abstraction.
