Star Collector - Demo Model 256 (1999)

Star Collector's debut is largely a product of Vocalist/Guitarist Vic Wayne & original Guitarist/Vocalist Dave Lawson (Jr. Gone Wild) reuniting to write & record after growing up in bands together in Edmonton, AB (along with Vic's brother Adam). The songs have a distinct mod flavour which reflects this history. Guitarist/Vocalist, Steve Monteith, who'd also played with Vic previously, came back into the fold towards the end of recording. Demo Model 256 began a 4 album run that featured Drummer, & all around good-guy, Ringo (Rene Lafleur) who was with the band until 2018. Guests include Rob Driscoll & Scott Switzer on Bass & Reece Terris on Piano/Organ. The album was mixed by GGGarth Richardson (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Catherine Wheel, Rage Against The Machine).
