Mansa Musa - Hold on to the Faith (2016)

Recorded in 1976 in Trinidad and remastered from original analog tapes, the work explores African heritage and the history of slavery. Mansa Musa, a former political prisoner and Black Power activist, is recognized as a key figure in the development of the "Rapso" genre. The recording features Calypso and West-Indian rhythms and includes contributions from renowned composer André Tanker.
