This Is the Place is a studio album by Belgian diatonic accordionist and composer Hartwin (Hartwin Dhoore), recorded in collaboration with the talented string duo of Pavel Souvandjiev (violin) and Flavia Escartin (cello). Released in late 2025 on Trad Records, the record stands as an exquisite example of "chamber folk." Unlike Hartwin's solo works, here his melancholic and cinematic melodies are framed by rich string arrangements that create a spacious, almost orchestral sound.
