Tom Cunliffe - Spit Out Your Gum (2025) [Hi-Res]

Tom Cunliffe has released Spit Out Your Gum, his first studio album in three years. Recorded live-to-tape in collaboration with musicians Dave Khan and Cass Basil, the record features nine compositions ranging from contemplative folk to energetic pastoral motifs. Based on material accumulated over the last decade, the release is characterized by an intimate atmosphere and a focus on storytelling. To support the album, Cunliffe has embarked on a tour of New Zealand cities with Ali Whitton and is scheduled to perform at the Auckland Folk Festival. The artist himself describes the work as an embodiment of the joy of life, travel, and spontaneous moments of existence.
