Hamouna Isewlan - Təlle Talyadt (2025) [Hi-Res]

On November 28, 2025, Hamouna Isewlan, an artist from northern Mali, will release his new album Təlle Talyadt ("Love Exists"). The record, performed in Tamasheq and Arabic, fuses desert blues traditions and the indigenous genres of Iswat and Tindé with contemporary influences. Hamouna's musical style, shaped by both family heritage and Western rock figures such as R.E.M. and Mark Knopfler, serves as a vehicle for social resistance and unification.

Despite being forced into exile in Algeria due to political instability in Mali, the artist transforms personal hardship into a message of peace. The ten-track album was recorded in Bamako featuring prominent musicians, including Lamine Soumano. The work is positioned as a bridge between the peoples of the desert and a symbol of hope for national unity.
