The Reddel Memorial Organ at Valparaiso University is located in the largest collegiate chapel in the world. It comprises 102 ranks as rebuilt and enlarged in 1996 by Dobson Pipe Organ Builders of Lake City, Iowa. The famous instrument was originally built with 64 ranks in 1959 for the then new chapel by the Schlicker Organ Co. of Buffalo, New York, to a design of Dr. Paul Bunjes.

Martin Jean, formerly University Organist at Valparaiso, is Professor of Organ, Professor in the Practice of Sacred Music, and Director of the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University. He has received many honors for his playing, among them the first prizes of the 1986 Grand Prix de Chartres and the 1992 AGO Young Artists' National Competition in Organ Performance.
