"Waves" is an exceedingly rare private press album, originally recorded and released in 1981 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. For decades, the record remained a "ghost": it had no digital footprint, no Discogs entry, and no reviews, making it virtually non-existent to collectors. Visually, the original release masqueraded as a typical "lounge LP" with an unassuming cover that concealed deep, quiet, and personal musical content. The 2025 reissue by Numero Group brings this recording out of obscurity, presenting it to a wider audience as a lost artifact of its era.
