The album features an eclectic soundscape where Zist handles the recording, production, and most instrumentation, with guest contributions from Elia Lazzerini on congas and Punk Xerox on the theremin.

Conceptually, the record explores themes of perseverance through failure and the "art of quitting." It serves as a manifesto for those who stumble and crash yet continue to crawl toward the rising sun. The music is dedicated to internal struggle and the inevitable rebirth that follows total collapse.
