This is a masterpiece from the early days of ECM, commonly known as "No. 15," produced by a school of Scandinavian modern jazz in the wake of Electric Miles. It's packed with elements of post-Electric Miles funk, free music that creates a frozen, tense atmosphere, ethno music that moves toward relaxation, and crossover. The members of this album are now representative figures of ECM: Terje Rypdal, Jan Garbarek, Bobo Stenson, Arild Andersen, and Jon Christensen.
I believe that three first Garbarek's ECM albums contains probably moll his discography.On his later rel released, but Garbarek's golden legacy is these three very first works.
