Jack Nitzsche - The Razor's Edge (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (2025) [Hi-Res]

Dragon’s Domain Records has reissued Jack Nitzsche’s original soundtrack for the 1984 drama The Razor’s Edge. Based on W. Somerset Maugham’s novel and serving as a remake of the 1946 film, the picture chronicles a WWI veteran's spiritual journey and features a notable dramatic performance by Bill Murray. The score, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, is distinguished by the use of the rare glass harmonica. Nitzsche, initially famous for his work with Phil Spector and the Rolling Stones, later focused on film scoring, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. This release has been remastered and retains the original liner notes.
