After CUBIC had completely reimagined “The Colour Temperature” into the acclaimed “Cubic Temperature” album, it is now Passenger S of 808 DOT POP (also one half of cult vintage synth act METROLAND) who takes on the challenge of reshaping CUBIC’s “Back to Basic” into a brand-new sonic entity: “Back to 808”.

This is not your average remix album. Loaded with CUBIC’s original stems - kicks, hi-hats, bass sequences, and effects - and fused with freshly recorded melodies, sequences, and samples, “Back to 808” elevates itself into something more profound: an 808 DOT POP album in all but name.
