"Antithesis" is a deeply personal project that reflects my journey through the contrasts and challenges of the world today. This recording brings together a mix of electric and acoustic new works, exploring opposites that feel especially relevant to me. Through this music, I have sought to capture the tensions, connections, and emotions that define my experiences as both a performer and a listener.

At the heart of this project is a three-fold exploration of contrast:

• The tension between the roles of performer and composer in the creative process.

• The coexistence of diverse musical genres I encounter both as a performer and a listener.

• The interplay between the sound worlds of the classical and electric guitar.

This recording aims to break through the walls of the typical "classical guitar" record. The final outcome is a collage of new works created in collaboration with some of the most innovative composers and performers I have had the fortune to cross paths with: Leo Brouwer, Sergio Assad, Belle Chen, Magda Giannikou, Opus Femina, and Giannis Papadoulis.

Each piece invites listeners into a different sound world, offering a rich tapestry of atmospheres and textures. The thread connecting these contrasting works is the voice whether humming or singing.

I would like to thank Petros Klampanis and PK Music for realizing this record, as well as my friends and collaborators for their support and trust in making this record.
