“Anything can happen!”: that was Martial Solal's motto when he improvised live during a series of memorable broadcasts dedicated to him on French national radio in the early 1990s. At the same time, this outstanding improviser recorded a compendium of his art for Erato, featuring jazz standards and musical motifs of his own invention.
