The Tallest Man On Earth - The Wild Hunt (2010)

Swedish musician Kristian Matsson's second album as The Tallest Man on Earth, titled The Wild Hunt, stylistically continues his debut work, relying on American roots folk traditions and minimalist arrangements. Despite the lack of radical changes, the record demonstrates the artist's creative growth: vocals have become looser and more emotionally diverse, while lyrics appear more lucid and personal while retaining their poetic nature.

The album combines tender ballads with energetic compositions containing references to genre classics (specifically Bob Dylan). The only notable experiment is the final track, "Kids on the Run," performed on the piano in the vein of Bruce Springsteen. Otherwise, the release deepens and refines the artist's unique sound without altering his fundamental approach.
