This album presents a more delicate and intimate approach to my compositions. Centered on upright bass and acoustic guitar, the instruments interact in a complementary, conversational way. The upright bass expands beyond its traditional role, incorporating percussive elements alongside harmonic accompaniment, creating a sense of fullness and organic texture. The intricate and mysterious guitar work of Francisco Neves adds depth and nuance, shaping the album’s subtle and expressive character.

While rooted in jazz (featuring improvisation, solo sections, and free exploratory harmonic dialogue) the album also draws from folk and blues, broadening its sonic palette. The track “Hold The Key” stands out as a special collaboration, featuring original lyrics and vocal arrangements written and performed by Fernando Fernandes (Ferna).
