To commemorate the tenth anniversary of Archy Marshall's "A New Place 2 Drown," a remastered instrumental edition of the album has been released. The original multimedia project combined South London aesthetics with classic 90s boom-bap. The absence of vocal tracks shifts the focus entirely to the production, evocative of 2000s instrumental hip-hop mixtapes akin to those by J Dilla and Madlib. In this stripped-back format, the atmospheric quality of the compositions is revealed most fully and coherently.
