"Small Talk" is a 2008 album by trumpeter Lőrinc Barabás and the band Random Szerda, which was made in the jazz-hiphop fusion genre and is one of the releases in the Random Szerda series, which was led by Lőrinc Barabás and featured renowned musicians. It is an important release on the Hungarian jazz scene.

Random Wednesday series, led by trumpeter Lőrinc Barabás between 2005 and 2010, presented occasional formations from illustrious artists of the hip-hop jazz scene in Budapest. The series, based on the jamming tradition, quickly conquered the city’s audience open to improvised music. In 2008 Small Talk, a concert album compiled from the most successful recordings of the project, was released.

At the present concert in the Opus once again we can meet the unrepeatable moments of the birth of instrumental fusion music, as presented by Lőrinc Barabás and his invited guests from the contemporary jazz scene.
