Teho Teardo, Blixa Bargeld - Christian & Mauro (2024) [Hi-Res]

Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld are releasing their third collaborative album, "Christian & Mauro," ending an eight-year hiatus following "Nerissimo." The record's title refers to the musicians' real names (Mauro and Christian), emphasizing the personal nature of the work. The album comprises ten compositions, including a reimagined 17th-century passacaglia, "Bisogna Morire," and tracks inspired by the works of astrophysicist Carlo Rovelli.

Production took place in Rome and Berlin with the participation of producer Boris Wilsdorf. The musicians utilize a wide array of instruments and experimental sonic approaches. A European tour in support of the release is scheduled to begin on November 19 in Rome. The live lineup will feature cello, bass clarinet, and a string quartet alongside the duo.
