Moïra Conrath - Songs of a Sad and Beautiful World (2025)

In 2021, Moïra Conrath undertook a three-month journey across the Balkans with photographer Loïc Jaspard. The expedition resulted in a musical diary consisting of eight songs, grounded in impressions from the countries visited and field recordings of ambient sounds. The material was finalized in a Paris studio in collaboration with guitarist Laurent Avenard Kohler. The resulting album is characterized by a minimalist, organic sound and a conceptual synthesis of music and visual art.
