Peter Maunu - Warm Sound In A Gray Field (1990)

This is an exceptional album of electronically based ensemble music. From atmospheric country-blues numbers to inventive reworkings of Gregorian chants and Sufi whirling-dervish influences, Maunu's music is filled with well-designed synthetic textures, compelling melodies and absorbing solos.
