Natsuko Sugao - Impermanencia De Los Asuntos (2025) Hi-Res

Trumpeter and composer Natsuko Sugao releases the ep NS Big Band Live, recorded live with her big band last July at the Auditori de Barcelona.

On NS Big Band Live, you can listen to two of the original pieces that are part of the suite Impermanencia de los asuntos, a preview of her upcoming album where she explores the different textures offered by this large ensemble. She delves into forms, structures, and a wide range of timbral registers, creating a musical dialogue between the various elements that make up the group.

Once again, Sugao has collaborated with prominent musicians from the current jazz scene in Barcelona 17 highly talented and energetic musicians, as can be heard in this recording.

With this work, Natsuko Sugao solidifies her position as one of the most outstanding composers and arrangers, while also contributing to the contemporary revitalization and celebration of big band music in our country.
