Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek - a-sides and b-sides (2014)

On November 16, 2018, Adrianne Lenker's early works—her debut solo album Hours Were the Birds and the collaborative collection with Buck Meek, a-sides and b-sides—will be widely re-released and available on vinyl for the first time. These recordings document the musicians' meeting in New York City following their graduation from Berklee and the inception of their creative partnership. In 2014, while touring extensively in a van, the duo recorded two warm acoustic EPs under the moniker Buck and Anne. Characterized by the interplay between Lenker's emotional vocals and Meek's distinct guitar work, these releases serve as a precursor to the formation of the acclaimed band Big Thief.
