Bardo Pond, Tom Carter - 04/23/03 (2012)

Three Lobed Recordings is releasing the 2004 album 4/23/03 on vinyl for the first time; this is a collaboration between the band Bardo Pond and Tom Carter (Charalambides). The record represents the output of a single extended improvisational session at the Lemur House studio. The compositions, titled according to their duration, are executed in drone and psychedelic genres, creating an immersive atmosphere. Despite the minimalistic approach to titling, the album demonstrates unique musical synergy, with Carter's guitar organically woven into the band's sound. This reissue is supplemented by the bonus track "8:28" and a separate CD containing a live performance recorded at the Tritone club two days after the main session. The album retains its artistic value and mystical atmosphere nearly a decade after its recording.
